JumPin in the LeaVes

Just a quick card post for the Retro Fresh challenge over at the Greeting Farm Splendid Stamping.
We are certainly jumping in the leaves here in MN! A dry end of summer has jacked up the fall colors like crazy! Lots of inspiration out my windows for this little dolly!
Burlap ribbon, leaves cut with my cricut, Copics, a little wooden greeting, and she's ready to go jump in the leaves!

This week's challenge at Paper Smooches

I wanted to use my new ChuBbY chUms stamps for this Paper Smooches SpArKs Challenge, but when I saw da colors, all I could think about is CAKE. Those of you who know me well know I have a huge cake obsession. Da more frosting (butta cream plz) da better......so, the colors inspired this little number:

Ahhhhhh sugary goodness. I used distress sticklers on the wrapper, and Copics to color this special yummy. Shined up the cherry on top, and she's ready to go cheer someone up. Don'T bITe! LOL!

Puppy LoVe

This is a Tiddlyinks stamp that I LOVE! I struggle with my Copics and hair....if anyone had suggestions for tutorials, please let me know! AnyHoosieDoosie, I added burlap (shocker), felt flowers n button, and Tim Holtz LOVE ticket! Shined up the little puppies nosE with my Fav Glossy Accents, and added some pearl dots from Liquid Pearls platinum pearl. I am submitting this darling duo for the Tiddlyinks Challenge, Make it like Asa!

6 years......

I am today a 6 year stg 3 breast cancer survivor. To say I am thankful is an understatement. Part if why I make cards is because so many people sent me cards in the mail during my treatment, and they meant more to me then anyone would expect. Now, I try to pass it on.......

This little vintaged up dolly is sending you wishes! I am submitting her for the The Greeting Farm lace challenge. All I had was white lace, bOrInG! I pulled out my Mister Huey's color mists in 'pretty pink', and spRiTzed it up! It think it turned out über groovy! The white undertone gives it a vintagy feel, no? Also....I picked up these Tim Holtz cutser tootser idea-ology adage tickets. Glossy Accents on her cupcake cherry, Stickles 'frosted lace' on the frosting.....fRoStEd LACE for the lace challenge ;-). Bwaaaaahahahahahaha!  And.....souffle 3d black pen outlining her polka dots and bows.  Viola!

Getting a little OwLey!

My first attempt with my new owl die from Sizzix that I absolutely fell in love with.  Crafts Direct had a huge deal on fabric dishcloths.......I thought they were the perfect color and pattern for this little guy! My Big Shot cut right through it AND burlap. You know I'm a sucker for BuRlAp. My little neighbor girl came over and we made her a purple owl with button eyes and a striped beak. Whatta HOOT!

Buttons n Bows

Stamping Bella challenge is buttons and bows.......how bout miss TiLly in her tea cup? I went with the red and blue kinda vintagy combo.....for her skin tone I actually used a chalk pencil....her skin is baaaaaby soft :-). Have a peek, whatcha think?

You'rE a HOOT!

I just discovered the cutest stamp vendor, Paper Smooches! I ordered some this weekend, but couldn't resist to start playing with the free digis they offer in their bLoG!
He's all copic markered up and perched on a branch made of felt. I'm a huge fan of burlap too...so I try to mix it in.....it's kind of an unexpected texture. AnyHoosieDoosie, I'm submitting this little hoot for the SPARKS challenge at paper smooches! SmOoCh!

I know you know I loooooove my BiG SHoT die cutting machine. Well, now I have even more reason to looooove it! With the extended cutting pads, and the card a2 w/flap die, I cut this whole card out! Kewl, no?
Have you ever checked out the The Greeting Farm? This little dolly is from TGF. I am submitting her for the bright color challenge. I copic'd her up and added a loverly rose for her to enjoy. Behind her are words like caring, friendship and sweet. All I would imagine a girl with sweet pink hair and pearls to be! Whatcha think?
