SpArKs!

Playing along again with the Sparks Challenge over at the always awesome Paper Smooches Stamps! This weeks challenge is a designer sketch to follow.....

This is my CrEaTiOn bwaaahahahahahah :-)  ChUbBy ChUmS owl stamp, some groovy felt ball ribbon, and a new paper pack I picked up at Archivers for a screamin deal of .99!  It's not super high quality paper, but there is a color and pattern choice for each season.  Not cheap paper for my little owly friend tho!!!!  I use a high quality xpress blending cardstock for copics.  Still plugging away on my copics class!  That reminds me,,,,,I have homework!  bye!

Typography is the challenge this week over at the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!  The first week of the month is always based on a Trend Watch....
And...this month, it is typography...this pic to beeeeee specific:
Cool, HUH?  So, I went to my smoochie stamps and decided on....well, you guessed it, my favorite chick.  I'm sorry!  I love her!  She speaks to me, well not literally.  I mean, chicks can't speak English for pete's sake!  uh-hum, anyhoo, here's my effort for this week's SPARKS challenge!!!!!

oh there she is.....you know, Madonna was in the twin cities this week.  I can't help but think of her in her 'like a virgin' era in with chickie's bow and sparkly gloves and shoes.
Here's the typography nod.  I found I still had some of this awesome adhesive fabric paper, I think American Craft was the vendor.  It's been a while since I had pulled it out...it took to ink better then I thought it would!  Cool, no?
That's all y'all ;-)  smOOch!

CrIcUt

I started to realize a lot of my blog has been about stamping, copics, and things of that nature. I don't want to ignore my Cricut! Poor Baby! I made this little kitty kat kard using said fabulous Cricut die cut machine, and my Nifty Fifties cartridge. She looks a bit crabby, but very well coiffed. LOL! TTFN!

CoPiC CLaSS

Just started my online copic class with Created from Color this week. These girlies really know their stuff..... Our first bit of homework was to color an image the way we always would. Cool thing......we will color the same image at the end of class to compare and see how we've improved! GrOoVy......no? So, here is my first effort. I am really looking forward to compare her to what I can do at the completion of class! StAy tUnEd!
